Apps for your Nokia Symbian phone

AuroraKajo is the home of Aurora Store: application downloads, release information and practical help for classic Nokia phones.

Explore Aurora apps

Find video and file-sharing tools in the published catalogue. Each listing includes its description, supported platform, release notes and available download.

AuroraTube

Browse and play supported video through your own Aurora relay on an S60 phone.

AuroraTube is a video application for compatible Nokia Symbian phones. Playback and available sources depend on the installed release, network and supported media formats. Read its current release notes before downloading.

Aurora Share

Share a selected Nokia folder with a computer browser over a trusted private Wi-Fi network.

Aurora Share is also known as FileShare. It lets a compatible Nokia phone share files with a computer browser. Check the app page for local Wi-Fi and relay connection instructions.

Nokia E72 and Nokia E73 compatibility

The Nokia E72 and Nokia E73 are classic Symbian S60 phones with physical keyboards and keypad navigation. On Aurora Store, check the supported-device list for the exact app version you intend to install.

A Nokia brand name alone does not establish compatibility. Phones may use different operating systems or S60 editions. A release for S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 is not a promise of support for every Symbian phone.

What are Symbian, S60 and SIS?

Symbian is the phone operating system. S60 identifies a family of phone software platforms and editions. A SIS package is an application installation file used by Symbian devices.

Before installing, compare the minimum OS and supported devices in the release information with your phone. Review the package size, checksum and signing notice as well.

Download and install an Aurora app

  1. Open an application from the published catalogue.
  2. Confirm its supported Nokia model and Symbian/S60 edition.
  3. Download the available SIS package. A Store account is not required for downloads.
  4. Install on the phone and follow the application's connection instructions.

If the phone browser cannot download a package, download it on a computer and transfer it over USB or Bluetooth. Read the SIS installation guide for signing and compatibility checks.

Which Aurora apps work on my Nokia?

Use the compatibility information on the application page for the published version. Available releases can change, and an installation or playback result must be verified on the actual phone.

Can I use the Store on an older Symbian browser?

Yes. The simple Store provides text-based application information and downloads without requiring JavaScript. It uses the same public catalogue as the full website.
